Eastering in Mt. Green

Every year we go to Mt. Green and have a great time at the annual Eastering extravaganza. We have a big pot luck lunch and roast hotdogs over the fire. Then we carve our oranges. Then the dads take the kids on a long walk to float their oranges down the river. (I'm not really sure how this tradition came to be but the kids love it.) Then the "Easter Bunny" fills up the baskets full of yummy goodies and hides the baskets all over the park. When the kids come back they have to go search out their baskets. The older kids really have to look hard since the Easter Bunny gets really creative with them. It's so much fun and we love it every year.
