Our 2 week Doctors Appointment.
We just got back from Pratt's 2 week appointment. Technically he isn't 2 weeks old until Thursday but close enough. We have a little chunk for a baby. Last Tuesday he weighed 6lbs 8 oz. This Tuesday he now weighs 7lbs 4oz. And he's now 20 inches long as compared to 18 3/4 last week. Everything is looking good. He didn't sleep hardly at all last night so neither did I. We asked the doctor about it cuz he tends to get up every 2 hours or so at night to eat. The doctor said he should be able to go about 4 hours at night so he told us to try a couple things. Thank goodness! I hope it works. I feel like I haven't slept for the last 2 weeks. Other than that he is looking good and healthy and even without the sleep we can't get enough of him.

WAY TO GO PRATT! It's so crazy how fast they grow. I know at first its hard not to sleep but hang in there it will get better.
Way to gain some lbs little pratt!! Jill, i hope you are taking naps during the day! Emri is kinda on a weird schedule...sometimes she goes 3-4 hours between feedings, which is nice in the nights...although its still hard to get up when it's pitch black out! Momma max left today so we'll see how things go...i'm really nervous to not have her here. There's some sort of security i felt while she stayed. LEt's hope my emotions don't get the best of me! I did get your voicemail. Give me a day or so, i'll call ya! XOXO
Is Pratt caulicy(sp?) I know they say not to put babies on their tummies but Daphnee wasn't the best sleeper she had a hurty tummy.so I would put her on her tummy and she started to sleep better. Just a thought. Just put him on the mattress with a blanket over him.
My babies chubbed up super quick too. He is so cute. I wouldn't worry about the sleeping thing to much. I'm the bedtime Nazi with my kids. Just make sure you do the same routine at the same time before going to bed and he'll get the idea. And take a nap when he does. If you don't then he won't recognize you without big circles under your eyes!
Congratulations!! He is so handsome.. It's been fun to read your blog and see what you've been up to... I rented TV show's to watch during my late night feeding, to help keep me awake... They only stay little for a short time enjoy every precious moment.
